NAATE Program Theory Development and Validation
The National Academy of Advanced Teacher Education (NAATE) develops, leverages, and retains our nation's top-tier educators for improved student and school performance through an intense, advanced program of study. We collaborated with Dr. Jennie Weiner to develop and validate NAATE’s program theory and logic model. Evaluation questions included:
- How and why do NAATE leadership and staff believe NAATE’s advanced program of study leads to intended outcomes? Where is there agreement? Where are the areas of non-agreement?
- How does intended implementation compare to enacted implementation? Where are there areas of alignment and misalignment?
